What is usually included, and what is not
- Usually included: hotel pickup and return, the drive, a guide for the first-waterfall walk, a village or cooperative stop.
- Often extra: lunch (an optional upgrade) and the climb to waterfalls 2 to 7. Check drinks and tips too.
- Not suitable, per the listing we checked: wheelchair users or people with mobility problems. Strollers are not allowed.
What to expect on price
Prices vary widely. On 5 November 2026 one platform listed a shared full-day tour from about US$13 (discounted from about US$22). Private tours cost more, and the price changes with the date and group size.
Do not compare on price alone. Check the pickup, duration, group size, language of the guide and what the walk includes.
Shared or private
A shared tour is cheaper and follows a fixed programme. A private tour lets you set the pace and stops, for example to spend longer at the waterfalls or the market. If you want the upper cascades, a private driver plus a village guide is more flexible.
Before you book
- Choose your date and read the cancellation terms. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before is common, and a same-day booking is normally outside that window.
- Check the weather in storm season and ask the operator what happens if conditions are unsafe.
- Bring shoes with grip, water, cash and a layer.
